Principal's Message

Mark Antkiewicz
This year we welcome back Mr. Antkiewicz to District 111 as Principal of Tobin School.  His experience includes 12 years as Principal at the elementary and junior high level as well as four years as Assistant Principal/Dean and 8 years as a Physical Education Teacher.  Although, the majority of his professional career has been in District 111, Mr. Antkiewicz has been a Principal in Lyons School District 103 for the past five years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Arts in General Administration from Chicago State University.  Additionally, Mr. Antkiewicz is fluent in Polish.  Mr. Antkiewicz is eager to lead the team at Tobin School and foster positive connections with the staff, students, and families.

Fall Into Fitness Health & Wellness Fair

The Health and Wellness Fair will be at Burbank School on Saturday, September 30 from 10:00 – 12:00 pm. The Fall Into Fitness Color Fun Run will begin at 10:30 am. The last day to order Fall Into Fitness T-Shirts is September 20.

Registration Fees Due October 1

This is a reminder that student registration fees are due on October 1. Balance statements have been emailed and mailed home. A late fee of $25.00 will be incurred on October 2nd if the registration fee has not been paid. Payments can be made at your child's school or online via e~Funds. As a reminder, families will no longer automatically qualify to have the registration fee waived if they qualify for free/ reduced meals. We are encouraging all families who believe they may be eligible for the Registration Fee Waiver to submit the application on or before October 1.

Application for Registration Fee Waiver & Uniform Reimbursement

This application for registration fee waiver is completely independent from the District process for determining eligibility for free meals. The information must be provided for your application to be considered. Submit completed application and income verification to the District Office. No fee or fine may be collected from a parent/guardian requesting a waiver until the District has acted on the initial request or appeal and the parent/guardian has been notified of its decision. The application must be submitted to the Administration Building no later than October 1st with the necessary documentation. If requesting uniform reimbursements (up to $30 per student), itemized receipts must be attached.

PFC Meeting August 30th

The meeting will be held at 6:00pm. at Tobin School. If you have not joined the PFC yet, you can do so tonight at the meeting. We will be discussing upcoming events.

School Spirit Days/Theme Days

Please see the attached schedule for spirit days! Uniform bottoms must be worn with spirit wear shirts. Please reach out to the PFC if you would like to purchase spirit wear.
