This year we welcome back Mr. Antkiewicz to District 111 as Principal of Tobin School.  His experience includes 12 years as Principal at the elementary and junior high level as well as four years as Assistant Principal/Dean and 8 years as a Physical Education Teacher.  Although, the majority of his professional career has been in District 111, Mr. Antkiewicz has been a Principal in Lyons School District 103 for the past five years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Arts in General Administration from Chicago State University.  Additionally, Mr. Antkiewicz is fluent in Polish.  Mr. Antkiewicz is eager to lead the team at Tobin School and foster positive connections with the staff, students, and families.

Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

This summer, we are hosting the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. This is a group of dedicated health care providers who will visit us in a 40-foot medical truck and offer physicals, sports physicals and vaccines at no cost to students ages 4-18 who have Medicaid or no insurance. Appointments must be set prior to the event. Please contact Laura Strepek at [email protected] to set an appointment.

Tobin Student Wins South Cook Regional Spelling Bee

South Cook ISC 4 comprises 66 school districts, and last night, the district Spelling Bee winners showcased their remarkable spelling skills at the 14th Annual South Cook ISC Scripps Spelling Bee. With immense pride, we announce that Kirsten, a 5th-grade student from BSD111 Tobin School, emerged as the champion!
Student Registration

2024-2025 Registration Opens March 1

New and Returning Student Registration opens March 1. Parents and guardians of current students will receive an email with a direct snap-code link to register their student. Current 5th grade students moving on to Liberty next year should be registered as Returning Students. Please also note: snapcode letters indicate your child's current school. For students affected by the boundary changes - school assignments will be changed over the summer to reflect placement for the 2024-25 school year.

Congratulations Young Authors Contest Winners!

Our Annual Young Authors Contest was held February 21 at Tobin School. A winner from each grade level was selected as well as an overall district winner. A link to each grade level winning submission can be found here. Congrats to all our talented young authors!

KINDNESS WEEK February 26th- March 1st

We will be having a kindness week for February 26th -March 1st. The theme this year is "Kindness is our JAM"
A Kindness Challenge sheet will be going home with your child today. Please sign the form If your child has completed each day's challenges, for both school and home for the week. Upon completion of the challenge, a special project will be displayed. Throughout the week the students will have opportunities to enjoy kindness activities.
